- The HJC CL Max is a modular snowmobile helmet. This means that the entire front flips up. This is a handy feature when you stop for a brief rest. Once stopped, flip up the front and you can more easily communicate. Also very handy for those who wear glasses. When you're ready to begin riding again, simply flip the front down. This operates with one hand.
- DOT approved only (most modular helmets are only DOT approved)
- Comes fitted with a clear dual lens snow shield and removable breath guard
- Optional snow shields available for this helmet include: electric snow shield (our part number 847361SHL), smoke dual lens snow shield (our part number SHL847368) and amber dual lens snow shield (our part number SHL847365)
- Shield removes easily and without the need for tools
- Shell is aerodynamic, lightweight and constructed with injection molded thermoplastic
- Channeled expended poly-styrene liner
- Vacuum Ventilation System Venting system provides precise air control allowing for multiple opening positions
- Adjustable top vents and chin vent directs airflow to the left and right rear top exhaust vents
- Minimal noise level design
- Channeled lightweight EPS liner and cheek pads allows for maximum internal airflow and improved comfort
- Built in neck roll exhaust vent
- Nylex liner and cheek pads are removable and washable
- Optional cheek pad sizes are available if needed which allow you to achieve a "custom fit"
- Wrap around neck roll reduces wind noise
- Double "D" ring chin strap retention system easily secures excess chin strap length

| Welcome to our HJC helmet sizing page. This page indicates how you measure for helmet fit and how you determine the HJC size that fits you. You should note that the HJC sizing chart is based on averages, it works for most people. |
| First, You measure for helmet fit by: |
| Wrap a measuring tape around your head just above your eyebrows. Be sure to pull the tape comfortably snug. Take several measurements, to make sure you have the largest one. This is your circumference. |
| Note: Due to varying shapes, heads that are apparently the same size when measured by a tape may not necessarily fit the same size helmet. |

| Second, determine the HJC helmet size that is right for you. |
