- This is the GMAX GM68S snowmobile helmet. This is a new helmet by GMAX and has a redesigned shield system. See the bottom of this description for available optional shields. Note that the helmet comes with a clear dual lens snow shield.
- The specific features of this helmet are:
- This is a fullface snowmobile helmet
- DOT approved
- Has a lightweight thermo-plastic alloy shell
- 19 vents for “State of the Art Venting”, 9 intake vents and most important 10 exhaust vents to get the hot air out. Maximum air flow is achieved through shell, styro and comfort liner vents.
- High air flow top intake vents feature larger controls for easy use with gloved hands
- Large rear exhaust vents get the hot air out
- Interior designed to assist shell and styro venting by not blocking the vent holes and channels
- Plush, removable, washable Coolmax® interior allows for custom fit and comfort that is second to none
- Removable adjustable cheek pads for custom fitting with optional sized cheek pads in case the helmet is slightly too big or small (optional sized cheek pads sold separately)
- Interior designed for noise reduction and comfort with noise reduction cheek pad shape, vented chin curtain and rear neck roll shape
- Padded chin strap with d-ring closure and retention snap secures excess chin strap
- L.E.D. light on rear of helmet is incorporated into the rear vent. It is unobtrusive with different easy to use light settings and a choice of red or black lens that are included with the helmet
- Comfortable, unobtrusive snow breath guard reduces fogging
- Snow curtain for added warmth and reduced noise
- Large eyeport for improved range of vision
- Molded front air deflector directs hot breath air away from the shield to reduce fogging and the adjustable chin vent directs fresh air upward across the inside of the shield to help reduce fogging
- Painted shell with high-tech water decals and high quality clear coat finish

| First, you measure for helmet fit: |
| Wrap a measuring tape around your head just above your eyebrows. Be sure to pull the tape comfortably snug. Take several measurements, to make sure you have the largest one. This is your circumference. |
