- This is the GMAX GM38S snowmobile helmet. This is a new helmet by GMAX and has a redesigned shield system. See the bottom of this description for available optional shields. Note that the helmet comes with a clear dual lens snow shield. It can accept the optional flip sun visor. The sun visor is sold separately.

- Inner chin bar designed for easy microphone installation
- GMAX® “D.E.V.S.” adjustable “Dual Exhaust Venting System” Top, side and rear venting reduces fogging and sweating by allowing hot air to escape from the mouth area and top of head
- Adjustable chin vent directs air upwards across the inside of the shield to help reduce fogging
- Large eyeport for improved range of vision
- Snap-in snowmobile chin curtain for added warmth
- Snap-in maximum seal breath guard reduces fogging
- Padded chinstrap for added comfort
- Painted shell with high-tech water decal's and high quality clear coat finish
- Replacement parts available (at additional cost) include: Chin Curtain our part number MS128657, Breath Guard our part number MS128659
- Comes fitted with clear dual lens shield.
- Optional Shields available at additional cost include:
- Standard replacement dual lens snow shield our part number MS128877. This shield accepts the optional flip sun visor that is sold separately.
- Tinted dual lens snow shield our part number MS128664. This does NOT accept the optional tinted sun visor.
- Electric shield our part number MS128839. This will accept the optional tinted sun visor.
- Electric tinted shield our part number MS128840. This will NOT accept the optional tinted sun visor.
- Tinted flip lens kit (has tinted flip lens, 2 cover washers, 2 washer scrwes, 2 washer plugs and 2 regular screws) our part number MS128887. This can serve as a sun visor. You need this entire kit to mount the lens to your helmet. Note that this kit only works with the clear replacement dual lens shield with the part number of MS128877

| First, you measure for helmet fit: |
| Wrap a measuring tape around your head just above your eyebrows. Be sure to pull the tape comfortably snug. Take several measurements, to make sure you have the largest one. This is your circumference. |
